About Us
The Fiscal Coach™ was formed in 2011 by Bruce Young, a Toronto based Chartered Accountant and seasoned business executive. It started the way many businesses are created - it was developed in response to fill a need in the marketplace. He recognized from his own experiences and through the insights of many companies, both small and large, that there is often a lack of emphasis placed on internal financial reporting and getting the owners/managers effective, relevant financial information compiled in a clear, concise manner that they can understand and utilize.
Far too often we find traditional accounting resources, internal and external, only produce standardized financial reporting designed for external stakeholders and compliance purposes. Yet CFOs and finance departments of large public companies have at their fingertips a wide range of state-of-the-art tools and processes to generate high quality fiscal analytics to focus on profitability and drive business performance. With advances in technology these tools can now be tailored, securely and cost effectively, to any size organation to empower its key decision makers with the same insights.
